Well the first bit of news is that I’m no longer using Timothy C Holehouse for my drone, noise and file under other work. I have decided to call myself TCH. Its just my initials, but suites the more minimal direction the music is going in and saves confusion from my blues material.
So with this I have a few new releases… The first is a split with Vaelium collective which is a group of musicians organized by RSC (Ross Myhill) I am a part time member of this group and bot myself and Ross appear on both sides of the 10″

And a launch party in London… as well as a party night at the Mucky Pup our spiritual home and finally a few UK dates…

Also a tape split with RSC will be out on the same date one live track and a remix of my side of the 10″ by RSC.

I will also be touring the Baltics and Poland releasing a split 12″ with Robbie Judkins (AKA Left hand cuts off the right) with a new 17 minute piece named Preston.

A new album later in the year called Earth Crumbled into the Ocean, as flames licked the sky, we hung our heads knowing that the end was nigh! On double gate fold vinyl and possibly CD. Which will be four long tracks.

The final release will be a picture disc 7″ with as yet undecided other group.

Firstly sorry for the late posting of this review, the insanity of 2011 rolled well into 2012!
So what a year! Another year on the road for me! I think was close to 250 shows many countries and two continents.
This year also saw the release of the third Tim Holehouse album “Grit” after a slight delay with the pressing plant it finally arrive and was repressed in 2011 too. I also released a split 7” with my good friend Gipsy Rufina from Italy on Rizona recs label from Switzerland, run by good friend Ronnie who’s Children Pablo and Martha helped in a big way with the art work.
I also finished several new recordings with Timothy C Holehouse material which is now changing its name to TCH to save confusion and to go with my more minimal approach to the music. These recordings will see the light of day in 2012 for sure.
So all in all a very busy year touring, recording and writing new material for future releases. Highlights included a two month tour in America my biggest tour to date over there and certainly my longest going from coast to coast. I also recorded several new songs in both Michigan City and New York, with my good friends Kahlil and Max respectively. Also so very special guest appear on these recordings.
Other Highlights to the year would be a fanatastic tour in Finland, being on National radio in Spain, a great tour in Northern Ireland. Drunken fun times in France and Switzerland. Watching a cracking game of Football in Germany (go Dusseldorf Fortuna!!!) Seeing my friends in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Playing with Gerda Blank in Czech republic. And all the Crazy and awesomely nice people I have met on my adventures… too many of you to name! But Thank you so much cause without you I would not be able to do this.
So what does 2012 hold (ok I know we’re already two months in now) well more touring for one! Yes my schedule is getting busier and busier… which is a good thing I reckon. (Those e-mailing me if I take a while reply I am sorry its just I am super busy it seems its not me ignoring you… I will try to answer everything as soon as I can).
Several new releases are set for release, and bunch more touring and hopefully getting to some more places I haven’t been before.
